Recent updates have been made regarding MSDS regulations in some key countries and regions, South Korea, Turkey, Australia, EU and UK. This webinar will address what these updates entail for chemical manufacturers and importers and how their businesses may be affected.  Other key topics that will be addressed are changes that have been made for the different countries, how new standards can be complied with and submission deadlines that are fast approaching.

Korea
Korea MSDS submission deadline is 16th January, 2022 which is fast approaching. All the manufacturers and importers handling chemical product(s) in the Korean market must prepare and submit the Korean MSDS and follow the updated MSDS standards. This webinar will focus on the new updates made and the standards you need follow.

Turkey
Turkey has begun the transition from the old regulation to KKDIK (Turkey REACH) regulation regarding SDS preparation and distribution. We will address the differences between these regulations, when the transition is expected to be completed and the responsibilities that apply to manufacturers and importers.

Australia
Australia is moving to GHS version 7, and from 1st January 2023, only GHS 7 will be used to classify, label, and prepare SDS. This webinar will focus on the details of the latest updates and what it might entail for you. Participate and stay up to date with trading partners and international best practice for chemical assessment and hazard communication.

EU
European Safety Data Sheet Commission Regulation (EU) (2020/878) was recently updated and all SDS need to comply with this regulation, which started from 1st January 2021. The new update mentions additional requirements for substances and mixtures and not knowing this can affect your companies’ activities. We will cover all updates of the regulation and the classification of substances per GHS Version 7 for new SDS and eSDS within EU.

UK
After Brexit, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are required by the UK REACH Regulation (has been effective from 1st January 2021), and it is similar to EU REACH regulation requirements. The Department for Environment, Food, & Rural Affairs (Defra) has the lead responsibility managing UK REACH and the SDS requirements within GB market and in this webinar, we will cover all updates from UK REACH and how it will affect the chemical industry in UK.
