On October 24th, 2020, the EU Commission presented its new Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, which was developed as part of the EU Green Deal. The ambition of transitioning Europe towards a toxic-free environment will create a new landscape for industry, the environment, and the society. The discussion about the new Chemicals Strategy has been ongoing since 2020 and implementation of the different components of this strategy will start this year.
