Business Developer

The role involves active coordination among teams in Sweden and India. Interpersonal and basic technical skills in the chemical industry. The Business Developer is expected to manage existing business and marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and overall business growth.

The role is a full-time position, on-site in Lund (Sweden).

Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain, initiate, and maximize relationships with new and existing collaborations via meetings, service promotion and webinars.

2. Handle administrative formalities such as Non-Disclosure Agreements and Business Collaborations.

3. Optimizing the prospecting strategy, customer pipeline and life cycle journey of new contacts through segmentation and automation building in HubSpot.

4. Case coordination between collaborators, consultants and sales team.

5. Follow and update existing guidelines and processes for the acquisition of customers, utilization of tools, and participation in events.

6. Training Sales and Marketing teams to new tools and new SOPs.

7. Maintain knowledge of all services and offerings of the company.

8. Create and organize new processes.

9. Exploration and project management of new businesses for expansion.

10. Support the Marketing and BD team with strategy, KPI definition and reporting.

11. Support the Sales team with pre-sales activity, lead definition and reporting.

12. Participation in exhibitions and events (~10 days per year spread during May, June and September)

Competencies and skills required:

1. Must be a self-starter with an independent problem identification and solution-oriented work approach. 

2. Must be a quick thinker and capable of working autonomously with the ability to research for answers when the General Manager Growth is not available.

3. Must be able to read, comprehend and analyze business contracts (B2B, B2C, governmental, non-governmental stakeholders).

4. Must be able to create excellent quality content for sales and business development.

5. Must be fluent in English as it is our corporate language.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Must be detail-oriented and an active listener.

8. Ability to work under pressure and matrix structure start-up environment.

9. Software skills related to CRM, marketing and presentation such as Canva, Miro, and HubSpot are a must.

10. +2 years of experience is required.

11. A scientific background such as biology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics, is appreciated but not a must.


The position is available now and will start with a 1-year contract (probation period of 6 months) and the possibility of extending it to a permanent contract.
